I don't believe they gave up a sack but the run blocking was horrible. Imagine what Barkley could have done with an OL that could block for him. We would have won this game easily.

How about the 4th down screen pass where RG #72 let's S and LB come thru the C-G gap untouched to help out Nelson but ended up not touching anyone on the play.

The problem is that physically our C and Gs don't cut it. Even when they read the correct assignments they get pushed back into the pocket or can't drive block their man.

Nelson is solid, but on tOSU/UM/MSU he'd be a guard. I think Palmer will be ok with another year in the weight room and coaching.
