can someone tell me why Watkins wasn't in there for that final OSU bucket?

Didn't matter, IMO.

Stevens got beat by a spin move when he wasn't anticipating it and the guy made an off balance shot. Great play. It happens.

PSU couldn't pull away with about 8-10 minutes due to various things including fatigue, injures, and lack of consistent shooting (nothing new there).

I thought that Pat left Watkins in there for too long, and tried going back to him one or two too many times. He had no lift at all and couldn't make it up and down the court more than one trips before he started locking up (plus, I was worried he did some further damage the time that his knee locked up and he went down).
