Does anyone else feel bad for Iowa? This was going to be their year, right?

I'm only saying this because he is so passionate about this sport. For example, most high school seniors would have said to themselves "Oh shit, Spencer Lee is at that weight, I'm bumping up or down". Instead he trained for a year specifically to have a rematch collision with him.

With that said, I wonder if the Iowa staff has yet to sit Austin Desanto down and tell him things are cancelled.

I have to say I loved joe pa but you seem pretty old (no offense) so you may remember the one time I was cursing Joe Pa to no end and that was the 1979 sugar bowl and I remember when they lined up for 4th down and said to myself don’t run that up the middle again and that was the play
I remember it all all too well.

Not naming names, as there’s thousands of seniors across the country in winter sports that are ending their college careers in a way no one saw coming...but certainly not on their terms.

Fans are important, but not one fan is hurting like these young men and women. This moment won’t define them, and the sun will come up, but the feelings are raw and will take time to get through.

Most important is perspective. The world hasn’t seen anything like this pandemic. Actions like this (canceling) will save lives, but so many have and will suffer, in every way possible. Tough to find the words right now.

There's always a James English type that rises up on his last chance, gives everything he has and makes all american honors. Thousands can say they wrestled D1, few can say they are an all american. Feel bad for all the athletes across the world.
