Dotson not targeted on any of the overtime 2pt conversions

I get that thought, but That new overtime two point scenario is made for a running QB who can buy time for someone to get open or run it in himself. Otherwise you need a WR or TE who is seven feet tall and stands at the back of the end zone and you just throw it high to him. Dotson isn’t that.

And Clifford was an absolute 0 in running today. If I had the stomach to watch the game again there was a play late in the game where Clifford on 3rd down (aka game in the grasp) and he avoided the mid field 1st down only to get clobbered behind the line of scrimmage on the outside . I posted right after that he was scared to run ( or instructed heavily not to do so). If you have the stomach for it you can see that play and he absolutely could have got the 1st down. The fact that Roberson did not see ONE snap is on the coaches and is an absolute F minus exponentially . Argue that one .

I don’t get rolling with Clifford unless everyone thought we could run the ball at will with even the slightest pass threat, which Roberson clearly doesn’t give us. Then, around the third quarter, When it became clear we were in a dog fight, they couldn’t throw Roberson out. I thought they had something with Warren as a time killing, 3rd down converting battering ram. but they refuse to take Sean out when he comes in and he is just a big straight forward runner with no real arm at this point. I just don’t think there were any real options, other than have a portal QB waiting to come off the bench when Sean got hurt at Iowa. Depth issues are on the coaches.

PSU should get a refund for paying this much $$$ for today. Of course the leadership has been suspect in so many other areas . Luckily , Old State has a beautiful campus and pretty good academics. Haven't fuked that up yet .
