I've got a Sony 75 and a Samsung 65 side-by-side in my man cave...works well 24/7/52...:p

why not just go with an ipad pro? I am assuming your cable system allows you to wifi stream it.

If you go with TV's, I bought two LG 4k's last Xmas. They are smart TV's and are really easy to nav different inputs, as well as stations. The Ultra HD 4k is great, approaches the QLED's with are two to three times the price. you can get a 55" for between $450 and $650. the pictures are all so good, it is hard to differentiate. If you have some kind of way cool QLED input, there might be a difference but when I looked, 99% of my viewing would be simple HD off of my cable system.

I also really like the thin frame....When I have company, I often put the screen saver on from my Apple TV and let it play.

I just use directv's pip in side by side. It works quite well on an 8' screen.

For throwaway tv's, outdoor tv's, and computer montors, I use Sceptre from Walmart. Can't beat the price and if something happens to it, buy another one.

They currently have a 50" 1080 for $199 w/ free shipping:
