Yep. Third place going to final jeopardy and he missed the final answer while both his opponents got it right.
Great run… yet Ken Jennings’ epic run still blows away his and James Holzhauer’s. That was truly amazing.
One pet peeve I had about Matt was his refusal to say “Who is” when the question was about a person. Every single response began with “What’s.” I wondered though if that was a strategy where he felt he could streamline his thinking and respond faster if he started every question that way.

Exactly what it was…it is allowed and it was good thinking on his part.
