Edmonton Oilers fans sing the Star Spangled Banner...(OT)

I wonder how many Americans know the lyrics to "Oh, Canada"?
I can follow along in English--not at all in French.

My favorite version is the dual language one (you get both US and Canada anthems in this video) by Roger Doucet. The Blue Jackets anthem singer uses this version as a tribute. I had the privelidge of hearing him live in Philly once--though he was only doing the US and Czech anthems (an exhibition game vs a Czech team)

If you look at the crowd, maybe of them are looking up while singing. I'm guessing as many of them knew the lyrics to our anthem as Americans do the Canadian anthem (understandable for both), and were just reading the lyrics off the scoreboard.

That game still gives me nightmares. Roger was great.

Canadian hockey fans know our national anthem, and American hockey fans know Canada's. The reason is obvious. They hear or sit through it all the time....
