Said total trap game and Pitt will upset Penn State.

We have no chance.

How can you have a trap game when you have a bye week next week? Just another mindless comment from a former jock who probably has no business pontificating.

If PSU loses this game, it will because of what PSU didn't do rather than what Pitt did. I saw the Pitt-UVA game in person, and Pitt is a limited team, especially at qb. They actually scored the same number of points at home against Ohio as Rhode Island did at Ohio.

Who is Emmanuel Acho and why should we care?

Honestly had to look him up and apparently was a LB for Texas who got drafted in the 6th round and then did less than squat in the NFL. Bounced around for a few years on practice squads before flaming out of the league in 2015.

Basically another know nothing that ESPN picked up because that's the kind of talent they can afford these days.

I don't know why anyone watches ESPN's talking head shows if this is the quality of product they're putting out there.

Pitt game will resemble the Buffalo game...they'll come out hard...stick around for a while...and lose. Same fans here will lose their minds, call for every kid and coach to be fired and benched and life will go on.
That's my expectation too, although I think that PSU actually will play with more passion in the first half of this game than they did last week.

Based on what I saw from Pitt against UVA and Buffalo last week, there is hardly any difference between the two. In fact, I think that Buffalo probably has a better offense that Pitt.

Last night, Bob Pompeani, who now is hosting the Pitt pregame show and knows a lot about the Pitt program, discussed this game with Paul Zeise on the nightly call-in show at 10:30 on the CW, and not even he had much hope that Pitt could win this game without a lot, and I mean, a lot of things breaking their way. It doesn't mean that it can't happen, but it's unlikely and shouldn't happen if PSU plays with a pulse in this game.

I think they have said that every year for the last 4 years and the one game they won wasn’t an upset since they were favored - stupid click bait or a desperate attempt by ESPN to get anyone to watch there awful non-live game programming.

This is a ESPN guy....owned by ABC/Disney. They are trying to amp up the game and get people to watch. Guess you could say they are 'spinning' the game.Thats their job.

Some of these so-called experts are spinning this game faster than Superman did going around the Earth to reverse time in Superman the Movie....

For the past 25 years I've been reading how Pitt is a "team on the rise". Now they're sneaky good?? I wish they'd make up their minds already.

If this were at Pitt, then maybe a sliver of a chance of an upset, but not at Penn St., imo. I don't know what the spread is, but I would guess it would be 21+.

Usually a trap game implies that there is a tough game the following week.
Next week is a bye week.
Media click bait at its best.

It's brilliant, Pitt has been recruiting and playing bad to cover up for how good they actually are. Sneaky!

I thought it was Jonathan Vilma so I clearly have no idea who Emanuel echo is. Either way they showed highlights of Pitt players that graduated years ago and pointed to them playing Clemson in the ACC championship.

Pitt is a team on the rise. Their problem is that everybody else is rising faster than they are.

Penn State is looking past pitt for the bye week rivalry.

They're so sneaky about it that they lost to Virginia and scored zero 2nd half points against Ohio.

That's really sneaky when you are willing to take an L.

Shh! We aren't supposed to know that! pitt is sneaky!

Thanks for the report and especially sitting through that program. Growing up in Western PA my mom and dad (and later me) always watched KDKA news and remember people like Bill Burns, Don Cannon, Ron Klink and Jon Sanders. What the CW turned it into is reprehensible.
In return for you taking that bullet I took one and listened to Chris Peaks podcast. Even he didn't have much hope.

I am not asking this this in a snarky manner but am seriously asking, who the hell is Emmanuel Acho?
