USC and Washington just starting with USC moving the ball.

Bama LSU coming up.

Michigan is definitely very good but it is hard not to notice that Purdue's defense is playing terrible. they are constantly out of place and not lined up in time

Had to change their signals at last second. All confused now. Hail to the Cheaters..

LSU with a long go route. 7-0. Bama is a pure mortal team now. UGA stole the MOJO.

I guess. also how is Ohio State ranked ahead of both this Michigan team and Georgia. makes no sense
I say this with all respect, but OSU is the cockroach of. college football; they always find a way to insert themselves in a position like they are now and find a way to survive until the end. They just know how to do just enough to win almost every game that they play, even when they’re clearly beatable this season.

To be upset about OSU being ranked above UGA and Michigan is to dismiss analysis and be in favor of the eye test, which usually causes great lament.

Ohio State has a better resume thanks in part to beating us. The ND win carries less weight now though.

Would love to see USC knock off Washington, but Penix and his receivers look pretty unstopable. How about a 51-48 USC final......

If Washington would lose to a 2 loss USC, how far do you think that they would drop?

Bama makes them pay. 14-7. Bama broke out the old school single back formation and a full house backfield. Don't see that much anymore.

LSU has no defense. They will have to win a shoot out. It's early, but I don't see this ending well for them unless Milroe starts turning the ball over.

USC’s defense also is awful; they’ll have to score probably in the high 30s to low 40s to win this game.

USC's defense is just plain awful.
It’s amazing that a program like that that has all of these advantages with NIL and all of the Hollywood support can put a defense on the field like that. But, that’s the way OU’s defense was under Riley.

I believe USC still gets lots of love with all their talent and Williams at QB so maybe not as far as we did. But at this point likely below us as the PSU win today should look good to the voters. If it had been last week with PSU looking pretty average against Indiana that might have been enough to keep Washington above PSU even with a loss to USC. But who really knows.....

All that matters is for PSU to beat Michigan. Otherwise PSU can finish strong the last 2 games and get a nice bowl and watch the playoff games.

We were also told that they were better off without Greene.
They are better without Greene and BYU is also awful. Bad teams beat each other. WVU gets win 6 tonight--if they get to 8 I was wrong. I'm content with that. They're still a horrible team and i think we all know that but many won't admit it.

This USC/Wash game is like an offensive highlight machine.

Like watching the Redzone TD montage.......

Not sure they’ll get to three wins this year….bwahaha.
Which is still a fair assessment. CV starts they probably lose to Pitt. If Greene wasn't out they probably lose to TTU. I still can't believe people want to pretend WVU is a decent team. The Big XII is horrible.

Horrible teams don’t win 6 games. Nobody claimed they were great, or even good, but they are better than what many thought at the beginning of the season.
Horrible teams win 6 games literally all the time. See Rutgers. Being bowl eligible isn't impressive in this era.
Yes, they're better than any sane person expected but that has a lot to do with Pitt, TCU, TTU, etc being worse than expected.
Greene tonight is 10/20 and has 19 yards rushing. He's an awful QB. WVU plays solid defense most of the time which keeps them in games in a conference that doesn't play defense.

Pitt, TCU, Texas Tech are horrible teams. They’ll have losing records. Horrible teams get beat by average teams that win 6 or 7 games (WVU). This isn’t difficult.

Kinda true, but horrible may be overstating it. How many D1 teams are there. There are enough really horrible teams that don't win six.

They aren't average--see Syracuse winning 6 games last year. Those are bad teams--bad teams beat other bad teams. See them losing to Houston

Bad, subpar, not-good--whatever word you prefer
The reality is the gap between elite-great-good and everyone else keeps getting bigger and bigger.

You are still willing to die on this hill? Dude, you seriously have something going on with you.

It's true. Not sure why you can't accept that. It's like Purdue and Syracuse were awful last year.
WVU isn't beating anyone with a pulse this year. We all know that. To me, and same people, that's a bad team. Them beating other bad teams doesn't mean anything. It's the same reason many of us see Penn State as having a 2 games schedule.
If they win 8, which they might with that schedule, I was wrong and will own it. That's fine. They're still not good.
