Columbo was great. Good call.
I recall one episode where a guy had a heart attack while working out. Columbo hounded the crap out of a guy until he figured out he murdered the dead dude. When asked how he knew, Columbo saw that his bow ties on his shoes had the left side up and the right side down. This is backwards for a right handed shoe tier. it could only have been tied by someone facing in the opposite direction. So, he deduced the guy died, was dressed in workout cloths, and propped up to make it appear he died working out.

I think of that every time I tie my shoes.

I'm going with Fringe.

Same era as 24 and FBI was part of the show

I didn't see how to do write-ins, but 24 and Justified are easily at the top of my list. If you want to go back to the 80s, Miami Vice was really a fun show to watch.

The Wire

I used to watch Mannix pretty regularly back in the day. I noticed that MeTV now shows reruns of both Mannix and Cannon on late nights. Being a chronic insomniac, I recently watched a couple episodes and was reminded of how often and severely Mannix got the snot beat out of him, seemingly every other week. I'd bet if they'd have done one of those concussion tests that the NFL employs, he'd have been on the protocol all the time.

Where's Peter Gunn, now he was a real detective (in the show) somewhat dark and moody. Also no Mike Hammer, king of the babes, sorry, I don't know how to post pictures I'll leave it to one of the board's "techie" geniuses. As long as we are posting pictures how about Stephanie Kramer from Hunter.
