Absolutely true. It's endemic in American life and it's getting worse. Daily examples are everywhere...on the highway, in the grocery store, at athletic events, in government, even in church. I have railed against it, and try to lead by example, but the boors have taken over society and I see no end in sight.
Not to get political, but the lack of respect and civility in the new Congress is mortifying. "Impeach the MFer?" "Who dis?"
The latter was in reference to Joe Lieberman, a former VP nominee from her own party. It is OK to disagree with someone, but do so with at least a little respect. Keep it dignified, too.
