Could be, but that's a matter of individual taste. I too prefer craft beers. Although, the Duquesne Pilsner is an OK summer beer when ice cold.It's just a shame that what they fill the cans with is a pretty poor product. I think many will buy one case just for the novelty of it, but won't every buy a second. They should have gotten a local craft brewer to make the stuff, Troeg's or Victory.
I just bought a case outside of Fox Chapel in Pittsburgh. I walked in and said, "I'd like to buy a case of Paterno beer." We chatted a bit and he basically reiterated what you said...they took a $10 case of beer and priced it at $22 with Joe's mug on the can.
It's drinkable, but it's going to get old really fast. I've been giving as much away to PSU fans as I can.
