Sources: Search warrants served at offices of Pa. Attorney General Kathleen Kane

HARRISBURG (WPVI) --
Sources tell Action News that search warrants were served at two offices of Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane.

They were served Friday afternoon at Kane's Harrisburg and Norristown offices.

Sources say the warrants were seeking unspecified records and other information.

It's like Chinese water torture or a slow painful death. She needs to resign already.

Witch hunt?

Kane went down hill finding the porno, and especially with the Jerry "leave no stone unturned" that left a boulder field intact.

People ought to remember that the people who are trying to force Kane out are the exact same people who told to world that Paterno failed to fulfill his "moral obligations" and demanded his firing, too.

Until I see actual evidence that she did something wrong, I'm not siding with THAT mob.

simply stunning how partisan hacks here seem to forget that

so far, there has been a lot of mud slung at Kane. I've yet to see any of it stick.

What is really aggravating is the fact that ' One Term Tommy ' was never called out on the carpet to explain his handling of the Jerry Sandusky saga, while being the AG. Add to the fact that as the PA State Governor, I don't think that there was anyone in office that leaked any more information out there to deflect attention away from the TSM, DPW, and his own failures as AG while pointing everything at Penn State.

Yep. And the PA media pretends that there is no irony in them laundering the GJ leaks for the Fina camp about a politically motivated GJ investigation into Kane's purported GJ leaks.

Kane is done and she should resign, and get her life in order. She is simply a pettifogger attorney and not ready to play on the big stage.

Partisan hacks indeed. It's frustrating to see that politically, the average BWI IQ is below Lair level, and that is saying something.

Yeah, funny how many here are willing to accept the narrative thrown out there and not afford her due process. Many of those are the same individuals that justifiably cry foul when it comes to the handling of the Sandusky matter. Partisan politics at its finest.

You know who would be the perfect replacement?

(Cue the Patriot News)

Frank Fina

Well, for me it has nothing to do with partisan politics. I'd be careful making that assumption especially since everyone here gets upset when others make assumptions about the JS mess. ;).

As for her guilt/ innocence- we will see after due process. However, for me it has to do with having a competent person in charge of running the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office. I know some want to write everything off as some sort of Kane vs Fina dual. I have no doubt some of that exists. Problem is that people not associated to Fina- people she hired- keep finding her unbearable to work with (if not worse) and quitting. 5 of her spokespeople fired/ quit in less than 2 years. 4 of her assistants fired or quit in the last year alone- including her chief of staff last week who was only there for 4 months before he had to get out. Think abou that.

Now she's fired the latest lawyer (5th staffer in 1 year) after he testifies at her grand jury. That alone you knew would raise huge questions. Then we find out the GJ judge had a protective order in place for those that testified so that there could be no retribution or firings.........and yet she fired him anyway. Then she claimed it was part of a 'restructure' that no one in the office ever heard of and that's not what they told this guy. They just showed up at his desk and had armed security escort him out of the building with no explanation. If your restructuring you either find another place for him or explain why he's being let go.

Even if he's this suspected "Fina mole" (note- no evidence of that but many here accept it fully without due process) you need to build a case to remove him- especially with the judge's protective order. She just seems disconnected from reality and unable to keep her own staff or run a properly functioning department. Not everyone is cut out to run a department like the AG office and it appears this Scranton lawyer with little real experience is simply in over her head- and that's before any guilt/ innocence on the charges against her.

not going to disagree with anything you said, just offer up you look up the term "gaslighting" as it applies to abusive relationships.

does Kane bear ultimate responsibility for everything that happens in the AGs office? of course. but I don't know if any of us could withstand a working environment where so many powerful people were determined to discredit or destroy us. the pressure in that office must be unbearable.

The people who are trying to force Kane out = Frank Fina's crew.

I too find it amusing that people are basically telling Kane she needs to resign because Frank Fina has clearly caught her in a web of corruption.
