Not the best look all things considered....

Well Trace, have the Lions stopped screaming?

I stole that idea from reddit --- but if Ohio State PR had put THAT phrase on the poster instead of "Silence" it would have been brilliant.

Even myself, as a mental health professional and victim advocate, thinks your take is ridiculous.
But you’re obviously not biased, correct?

Here’s one for you, since you’re a “mental health professional/victim advocate” and all...you’ve obviously heard the old “tree falls in the woods” adage...so if a domestic abuse takes place in Columbus, ahiya, and urban meyer is the head football coach in that town, does it get reported?

Living in Ohio, there is a huge chip on the shoulder of sport fans here. I figure it is due to the horrible pro sports like the Browns, Bengals, and the rest, historically. Plus, the "burning river" and jokes about CLE and Cincy resonate. The clear exception has been tOSU. Between Tressel and Meyer, tOSU's football team has been exceptional. But, there is a bit of an inferiority complex due to the other sports fiascos. As a result, they are jealous of what other people have (white outs, CJF) and are very threatened by their own potential failures (Meyer/Tressel scandals or ascension of PSU/UM). Thus, they sometimes do dumb things.

And what would your opinion had been if Penn State had created this exact tweet 5 games after the Sandusky scandal hit? I think the world would have been in a complete uproar.....but apparently it’s okay for OSU to do it. Unbelievable.

I don't have a huge issue with the original poster. I just think its funny that they are now admitting:

(1) the people that staff their Twitter account are not creative,
(2) they're paying those folk to literally recycle stuff from 2 years ago, and
(3) those folk are recycling stuff from a game they lost.

OK.
That was my thought when I read the explanation...how did it work for them in 2016? I think they knew exactly what they were doing and it was a big FU to everyone else.

Problem with this statement is that if you think this is ridiculous, then you have to take the same position on all the other benign things (such as this) that victim advocates typically feign outrage at.
