I'm sure this has been covered ad nauseam. Also, any other holes in the lineup or will we be at full strength?

Teasdale or Teske. Two talented incoming frosh.

My guess.

125 Teasdale/Teske
133 RBY talented frosh
141 Lee
149 Verk or Berge talented redshirt frosh
157 Nolf
165 Cenzo
174 Hall
184 Bo
197 Shak
285 Nevills

Teske

After his last 9 months, a year of sucking down to 125 and not having great results could be enough to break Teasdale.

What’d I tell you about that negative talk!o_O

Agree Gavin hasn’t had the greatest year for him but I have no doubt he going to be a handful at the next level. Give me a guy that can get to the legs anytime. Match that with this coaching staff and that will be dangerous

I agree and for fun discussion only which guy out of RBY, Verk, Berge, Teasdale, and Teske would you give best odds to All American next year?

I’d go Verk, RBY, Teasdale, Berge, and Teske in order of confidence Level. I think Verk wins the 49 job and Gavin wins out over Teske for 25. I think Verk is gonna be a Top 5 kid next year

I pick RBY. Guy seems to have great strength.

Tough question especially since we haven’t seen Berge in a while and the others besides Berk are in HS

I would go
Teasdale if he can make 25. I really think he blossoms on this team but weight could be issue
I think winner of Verk/Berge battle has shot at what should be relatively weak weight to get on podium
RBY-haven’t seen him as much as the others so I’ll put him third on my list
Teske would be my last pick but from what I hear he has an unbelievable motor and again I think he’ll thrive under these coaches. Just not sure he as natural athletic/talented as the others in this group.

I’ll be excited to watch all progress and be our new studs down the road

Oh hey...this has the look of the 2nd greatest dual team of all time. Impressive lineup

Don't believe there's any chance of RBY going back to125 next year. I agree with those saying Gavin gets the spot if he can stay at 25, otherwise Teske. I'd expect to see RBY at 33.

I was thinking the same about the field at 149 next year. But, there will be a few guys at minimum making the climb post-Zain and given all that young talent at 141.

Another way to look at it: what does the competition look like?

125: Tomasello, Cruz, Bresser, and Welch are SRs. But a TON of returning talent. Keep an eye on how Mattin does this year as a true freshman -- Teasdale is ahead of where Mattin was last year (maybe Teske too).

133: Forys is the only SR in the top 15, and a strong weight without him. Again, monitor true freshmen, in this case DeSanto and Renteria.

149: This weight clears out more: Zain, Sorensen, Tsirtsis, Heilmann, McCrystal, DeLuca, Donahue, Perry all SRs. We'll see how many 141s decide they can keep food down without having to face Zain.

Verk or Berge would have a good chance at the podium. They also will have a year of college experience, that our 125/133s won't have.

Agree Pish. But with Berge going 57 this year, guessing 49 next year would be tough.

Posted this before...I think they (teske and teaz) could RS through the scuffle. RbY will show he is too good and we have too much of a need to keep him on the shelf.

Schnupp and the other's get the matches up till then.

We don't need a 125 until we need one with next year's lineup vs the field in the early going.

I would also push for cortez back to 133 but I doubt that happens.

Could Lee RS and let cortez go 141???

Lots of f** off season talk for sure.

.

Now that you mention it. I forgot how week 133 is. Besides Gross and Micic, I think RBY can roll with the rest. I can see him hanging with Desanto, Mueller, Pletcher types.

Will be real interesting.

149 next year I think you might add:

Yianni
Gfeller
O'Conner (possibly 157)
Ashnault (f he gets an extra year as rumored)
Lugo
Mason Smith (edit: nevermind. I was thinking Oliver was a senior.)
Thorn (unless McKee redshirt)

I'm of the thought that Teasdale going 125 for 1-year works best for the team over the next 4-5 years, as it would allow each of Teske, Teasdale, RBY, and even N. Lee to get in a redshirt, and all can wrestle 4 years. The team will be strong enough that we will be in the title hunt every year...so a big picture view is needed.

What I haven't figured out is how to get Busiella in there too...for all 4 years. Appears someone will sit a year or more.

Agree Roar.

Regarding Busiello....our competitors would love to have these problems :)

Yeah...but our guys have to do more than win almost all the time.
They have to entertain us.
Who is gonna be the exciting, pinning, whirling performer from among those guys.
This is show biz you know.

I agree with you on 125 (Gavin). I was responding to who will most likely "AA" where I pick RBY.
