Okay, let me make this perfectly clear, I have absolutely no inside information whatsoever... with that said, I heard from an unreliable source that Jonathan Thomas and Jonathan Holland and one other have already told the staff that they intend to transfer. TIFWIW, but it certainly would explain why the officials scheduled for later this month are still on schedule, right? So far we have TCF, Procter and a TE (potential walk-on?) coming, plus the DL currently committed to Kentucky.... and all the "rumors" about Paris Ford, if nothing else it makes things interesting. No need ot post "Ford isn't coming ot Penn State", I get that, but the possibility is fun to talk about anway, even if it's a pipedream-- if you're not interested in discussing speculation, simply back out of this thread.
To reiterate what's been all over the Lions Den, we are currently, with Godwin and Sickles leaving, at 85 scholarship players on the roster for next year. There is still a possibility that a couple more could decide to go Pro (Hamilton and Allen). If the aforementioned players transfer, there could be more room than any of us originally thought.
The fact that Phil, Ryan, et al have not mentioned anything nor have they even hinted at it (although Phil did mention a 5th year possibly deciding not to return but I think that was just speculation) means you should most definitely take this with a serious grain of salt... for now.
