The new leaders of Penn State have transformed this once great University into something I can no longer proudly claim as my University.
Good Lord, this is so difficult to accept.....
Maybe it's an over reaction to the Sandusky mess or maybe it's just the natural evolution of unchecked political correctness....whatever it is, my beloved Penn State has become a run of the mill lib echo chamber that has turned it's back on a free and open atmosphere where students can hear all views and speak candidly without fear of the thought police coming after you......
So no more contributions, no more alumni association activities, no more wearing school gear.... I will never again proudly volunteer where I got my under graduate degree......all of the pride is gone now......
Those who are responsible for this debacle should take to heart the lyrics of the Alma Mater,,,,
"May no act of ours bring shame to one heart that loves thy name.....
May the memory of what Dear Old State once was not be forgotten....
