Saban was responding to questions about Taylor's dismissal and Geno Smith's second DUI. SC commentator said Alabama has had 7 arrests in the past 12 months.

Saban does get very testy and intimidating/ condescending if he gets questions he doesn't want to answer (like player arrests). On a good day he's snarky and abrupt when questioned. ;). It's funny how he really does intimidate his media to not question him on topics he doesn't want to discuss. They will try it with 1 question and then he gets upset, rolls his eyes, insults the questioner and the topic as not being worthy of discussion and then refuses to address it. His media then generally moves on after awkward seconds of silence.

All that said, Finebaum also lives to tweak Alabama fans in these dead periods to get the fights with Auburn fans that jump in and the resulting ratings.

The questions do get repetitive and some of them you can tell were meant to get under Saban's skin. I've actually always liked Saban and he is obviously a really smart guy but I agree with Finebaum that he came across pretty bad in that PC. He basically said that Taylor is still a good kid. No Nick, he is not. He is a piece of shit. He didn't make a mistake he is a repeat offending women beater.

He probably reacts that way if you simply wish him "Good Morning!"

Great coach, but he acts like the ruler of the universe.

Someone needs to have Nick talk to some fathers whose daughters

have been murdered by good guys like Taylor.

If you win, you get to do that - give him 3-4 more seasons of average records and they will begin to roast him for his snarky attitude....
