12 - 42 first 3 years in the A10. THE A FRIGGIN 10!!!

what percentage is that? Divide by Paterno, multiply by Hugo

only ONE NCAA tournament appearance in 12 seasons.

he must go.

Bruce won at least the same number of conference games every year for the first 6 years he was here. 3-4-5-9-9-12-13. In year 5 with "his guys" he won 12. He was building and showing steady improvement. Chambers--not so much. 4-2-6-4-7-6-9. When Chambers doesn't comparable favorably to Parkhill there's a problem

I'm probably the only Pens fan happy to see the Flyers doing well. I like when that rivalry is strong because of talent/skill not just due to hate. Same with the Caps, Devils and Rangers. It's much more satisfying, to me anyway, when you beat a rival that's strong. Pens-Flyers would be a great matchup...hopefully that happens in the second round :)

Dick Hurtz. Paging Dick Hurtz. Who's Dick Hurtz here??
Doug Gottlieb transferred in HS to play for Tommy McCluskey because of his ties to Harter. I'm sure Tommy matured quite a bit over the years, but when we hung out, well... His "care packages" from northern CA were legendary. They weren't filled w/ Ramen. Just the good stuff. Real good stuff.

I remember Bruce resigning and giving way to Jerry Dunn back in 1995 +/-. Bruce was not that old at the time, and I would have thought that he could have coached many more years. Has he not coached at all since then? He had some success, albeit outside of the B1G, but he was building something.

Didn't he make a bunch of money w/ the Uni-Mart people? I know he was awful comfortable at Centre Hills.

He came back to Ohio State as their top assistant for a few years.

I was there in 94-95. I remember playing pick up in Rec Hall with Rashaan Carlton, Matt Gaudio, Dan Earl and some others in October and there were rumors around the team about coach's penchant for the coeds. Would have been real nice to see teh 95-96 team if both Parkhill and Gaudio would have ben there.

You need mental help. Any respectable Pens' fan wishes the Flyers to eat doggy doo doo, and bark at the moon.

Gaudio was there.

And in hindsight, we got pretty lucky pulling in Frank Haith at the 11th hour.

you're right, I should have been more specific. I knew Matt from HS, played aginst him. Great HS player. He was 'there' but not nearly what he could have been. I was lucky enough to play some pick up with those guys and he would play one game and then go shoot around, the back pain after multiple surgeries was too much. Toughed it out as a senior but man if he could have played 30-32 minutes a game rather than 24 they would have made the sweet 16.

Gaudio was there.

...when performance in the the A10 in someone's mind compares in any way to performance in the B1G, the person thinking that does not compare favorably to a thinking person.

Flyers would win it in five or six. Pens are not a factor this season. They'll be out in round 1 regardless who they play, assuming they hold on to a spot.
