I think there's a 40% chance it's a screen to Hamilton, a 40% chance it's a run by Lynch, and only a 20% chance that it's something different.

Other opinions?

Twins with Lynch set to Hack's right.
Motion #2 from left to right stopping short of the left tackle when ball is snapped.
Fake hand off to Lynch who goes up the middle and occupies LB's.
Motion drags across behind LB's.
On the right side #1 WR runs a curl at 12-13.
On the right side #2 runs a post.
Left #1 runs a skinny post.
Looking at curl, drag and posts.

But, I also like PAT as an option following opening KO or PR for SIX.

50% chance we play a cover two zone on the first play from scrimmage.

Polk in the wildcat with Hack out wide!

Shock and Awe baby! No one would expect that!

If that happens I'm walking out!

I'd cut each of those percentages in half because it's 50% - 50% that Temple has the first play from scrimmage!

WR screen. Since we only ran that play 3,456 times last season.

I love the wide screen BUT with the pump and go with the inside receiver faking the block and going long. Gotta run it because 1) it works and 2) it keeps the defensive secondary a little more honest.

My favorite first play: simple dive play, hit someone other than your teammate and chase the butterflies away.

Considering last season, maybe a sack?

I hope they run it. We need to get this O-line amped. Temple has a decent defensive line and we will find out if the offensive line has improved very early in this opener.

Play action pass, completion to Kyle Carter over the LB down the middle of the field... FIRST DOWN.
I like this approach. Play action will slow the rush but the pass will stll need to be quick given our OL and their DL. LB may first bite on the run especially on the first play where he'll want to make a big stop and will have trouble getting to the TE quickly.
