PSU recruits are ranked as follows:

1. Mark Hall
2. Nick Suriano
5. Mason Manville
47. AJ Nevills

PA had 4 guys in the top 10, and PSU landed 1 of them.

Thrilled to see our guys ranked this high, especially Mason at 5. This is incredible. Thanks for posting Tom, does Flo post this as non premium content at some point?

With all the hype surrounding Hall, Suriano, and Manville, I think people are sleeping on AJ. I loved his interview talking about his approach to the sport and his focus on getting better and better each day in the room. You never know how things will turn out but he could be a big time sleeper in this recruiting class!

Just an amazing group of wrestlers, I cannot wait to watch them compete in the Blue & White singlet!

On a related note, did everyone catch the epic Hall/Massa bout at the trials? If not, sit back and enjoy....

Hey, has someone already noticed that the Big 3 of the new recruiting class can be called "MnM" (a la "3 N's" from the class of two years ago)?

Thanks for that. What a wild match. I have NO idea how they had the score 9-7 Massa after his 4 point move and subsequent turns. I had it at 12-6 Massa at that point so obviously my knowledge of how freestyle is scored needs a LOT of work.

Sweet ankle picks PSU style. I will say this, and nothing at all against Mark Hall, but my favorite part of that video was seeing Hawkeye fans in the background clapping when NATO got the 2 against Nico. I love that they hate us. I absolutely love that!

If Tomassello stays at 125, as all the PSU haters want him to, it sets up quite the quandry if he faces Gilman, doesn't it?

Never understood the "hater policy" of some of these fans...When we were plodding along with Troy, finishing in 9th to 13th place every year, I didn't root against Iowa, didn't root against Minnesota, didn't root against Oklahoma State, no matter how many titles they won, I just rooted FOR OUR GUYS.

Come on now, you didn't root against Dake?

I did not root against A UNIVERSITY.

Individual assholes are a being unto their own.

Find me one person who wasn't a Cornell fan, or a Penn State hater, who rooted for Dake, and I will find you a liar.
You sure about that?

I describe cheering against others as a complete gut feeling. Many times it is unintentional, but during matches you just find yourself picking sides. Whether it be you shadow wrestling in your seat with how that guy should move or openly cheering. Whenever you you make the choice to cheer for someone, you are also making a choice to not cheer for someone or even against someone.

Although individually I enjoy most of the wrestlers on IA's and PSU's team, my gut is routinely found cheering for the guy that faces them. I can't explain it, but I can't fight it. At the end of the day I appreciate all things wrestling, but in the heat of the moment emotions are involved and my true "fandom" comes out.

I would guess this is pretty common for most people (changing the teams or wrestlers involved), some are just more vocal about. Others are in denial or just Haven't made the connection yet. It is possible some people are also perfect.
