For the people concerned about UM mocking PSU

Not sure why a higher ranked team needs motivation to beat a lower ranked team that's a two touchdown underdog. I think the whole revenge tour thing is stupid. As much as I can't stand OSU, their players seem to exhibit more class, than some of UM's players (Winobitch, Hill, Higdon).

Sometimes dumb ideas like a revenge tour are simply an additional motivation tool

I didn't have an issue with anything Michigan did yesterday. Mocking Trace's stupid baseball swing was good humor. I've always seen that as cocky by him and I'm sure Michigan didn't take kindly to him doing it last year. If you take that approach you can't get upset when it's thrown back at you. And the Winobitch thing is just childish. Come on man.

Hopefully we play better next year and we don't give them the chance to mock us. If you don't want to see them do it to us again take the high road the next time we win.

I'm sorry but when you create a "signature celebration" you should fully expect it to be thrown back in your face when you get embarrassed and play as bad a Trace did on Saturday. Trace's homerun swing is also poor sportsmanship no matter how you try to justify it.

It doesn't matter. Trace does his homerun thing, which is kinda making light of the other team. Fair game for others to do it when he throws a pick six. Flyers fans mock the Pens and Crosby. So what? That is what makes a rivalry. It has been said that Penn State doesn't have any natural rivalries in the B10. Well, maybe we do now and that is a good thing. Let's just hope that Penn State starts winning some games.

This lose may actually be good for Penn State. Franklin mistakenly shot his mouth off about being elite. Well, he got a lesson yesterday that there is much work to do to be elite. Reality set in, and now let's see how the team handles it. It may result in more leadership and focus like after the UM game two years ago.

This team is no where NEAR being elite. I cringed when he said it. We freaking struggled against App state for $#@!s sake. We are Iowa right now. Have some good 1-2 loss years where we are maybe fighting for Big 10 titles and a New Years bowl, but throw some 8-4 years in there. Up and down. We are just good. Not Elite, not even very good- just good.

The Elite teams never miss a bit, but there aren't many of them out there. We won't be elite till were are restocking with 5 star studs who have had time to develop and have been in the program a couple years. Not playing a bunch of freshmen and some walkons.

And they HAVE to recruit better lineman on both sides of the ball. Period. Alabama's lines are big men Both sides of the ball. Our OL guys come in at 260 and we have to build them up for three years, and they end up being just fat guys who can't carry their weight. Our DL guys come in at 230. Michigan was even too big and physical for us.

But, did the UM sound folks play Kernkraft so their fans could mock us? That's what it sounded like anyway. That's uncool--that takes planning and is "official"--not players having fun.
