Should be finding a running game that at least gives Barkley a chance to be successful and PS a chance to win out. Barkley can still win the John Heisman award - it would mean a lot to SB and the program in general, and could help with recruiting of star players.

So, does Moorhead have the guts to realize that his run system, as it stands now, sucks, and does he have the ability to craft what he has with the OLine to develop a running attack?

The run part of the RPO system isn't working.

Football is about total points, not total yards.

Right now, PSU has the 14th best offense in the country when it comes to putting points on the board. This after dealing with two of the most talented and deep defenses in the country in back to back weeks.

The offense knows where it's weak and is still putting itself in position to win. That's what a scheme does. No scheme given this OL is going to be perfect and with Moorhead's offense you're going to take negative plays. Can't read too much into those if production is still there.

True. But it is also true and very evident given almost every game this year that the run game is not working. To reject that truth is to ignore the obvious.
so what do you think would be better, should we revert to the power I? You have to fit the scheme to your personnel and without a standout o line a power running game won't win you many games

I've identified the issue. Franklin and company are paid $Millions to solve it.

But my suggestion is to not try and overuse a method that doesn't work. Admit the deficiency and play more to your own strengths...passing.

Is he going to run out and bring in a whole new group of OLinemen during the week? Then we can go to the power I and excel like Harbaugh's teams do.

I can agree with that. I have been in favor of that for awhile now. I think maybe the staff has maybe tried a little too hard to get Barkley carries and it has been counter productive at times.

Put Sanders in the backfield with Barkley. Moorehead used two backs at Fordham I don't see why we can't use it here.
