Never seen a final like this. Literally, a foul called on every possession. Sad.

Just awful. To the point of saying that regardless of who wins this, this game has been marred to the point of controversy.
One of the ugliest games I have ever seen, in every way.
Bad shooting, bad passing, bad officiating...but other than that, it's great.
Just like the women's championship game, some officials think the game is about them. No-one wants to see games officiated like these finals were officiated. why do we continue to have games called like these two. Call it tight early then let the players dictate play. No these officials want their 20 seconds of fame. Disgraceful. At least Emmett got his just due.
Worst refereed final I can remember in a while. Typically the refs in the final four swallow the whistle and let the players play (which is a good thing). No idea what they heck they were doing last night blowing the whistle on every possession. Even the announcers were moaning about it.
Worst final I have ever seen. We have been talking about this for weeks. Can we let the kids play for goodness sake. The whole 5 minutes it took to figure out was there a foul for free three throws for both teams was ridiculous. Man that was a terrible 2nd half
The refs killed the game. When there were hardly any fouls called the last 5 minutes it was great viewing. Too bad these teams don't get to play each other again.
How do you call a flagrant foul on someone the foul wasn't even called on? Ridiculous.

Well, if that had been a Penn State game every post would have mentioned lousy coaching. This thread none.
If we were in the national championship game and lost, then I don't think there would've been complaints of lousy coaching.
Basketball is particularly ruined by all of the foul calls and stoppage of play. It can be dreadful. I think they are going to have to look at some type of rule change longer term. It destroys the flow of the game and everyone gets bored. Some type of penalty box type situation so if you foul on three consecutive possessions. You lose a man for a minute. 5 on 4.
