With the unofficial start of the 2018 season upon us (the B/W game), I went back to look at the last 5 recruiting classes to get a sense of how much each class has contributed . Here's the 2014 class, the first in the Franklin era:

1. S Marcus Allen 4 year starter at Penn State, NFL is next
2. RB Mark Allen Important in terms of depth, may contribute a bit more in '18
3. S Troy Apke Great final year, will be in the NFL
4. DT Tarow Barney (JC, 2015) important contributor
5. OL Noah Beh never reached potential, eventually transferred
6. WR Saeed Blacknall had a number of great games but never turned into an elite receiver
7. OL Brendan Brosnon injuries shortened his career
8. DE Torrence Brown if healthy, likely a starter
9. LB Jason Cabinda future NFLer
10. CB Christian Campbell Another future NFLer
11. LB Koa Farmer Starter in '17, can he become a star in '18?
12. TE Mike Gesicki he was alright ;)
13. WR Chris Godwin playing in the NFL
14. CB Grant Haley 4 year contributor; future NFLer
15. QB Trace McSorley at least one of us thinks he's overrated- not me
16. QB Michael O’Connor left before he could do anything
17. CB Amani Oruwariye '18 will be his year to really shine
18. LB Troy Reeder was slowly working his way into a significant contributor before deciding to go to Delaware to play with his brother
19. S Nick Scott Starter in '18
20. OL Chance Sorrell Injuries curtailed his career
21. RB Johnathan Thomas To date has not contributed
22. WR De’Andre Thompkins significant contributor and starter, looking forward to a great '18
23. DT Antoine White transferred to Albany?
24. CB Daquan Worley Left very early in his career
25. OL Chasz Wright Solid contributor

All in all, there were or will be a lot of contributors from Franklin's first class- it all started with these kids and it's only gotten better since this class joined the team. Thought it was interesting the number of solid contributors from the '14 class.
