Friday night provision and battle groupings

So fridays are tough for us as my daughter has Futsal 730-9 40 minutes away and my son has baseball 630-8....

So our viewing party has gotten away from us this time.

Our youth coaches are having a party and it's a bring your own covered dish. This is the benefit in a small town where coaches and parents are together literally all year for the different sports.

However if past is prolog here is what I suspect will happen;

Mr. Single Guy dating Miss. Hot Hispanic gal will bring queso and nachos. It's freaking great and it's too bad it's cold because she dresses so well for the heat in the MD summer.

Redneck family will have venison bologna, assorted cheeses and pickles. Venison is too garlicky for me but still good.

Super sports family will bring assorted beers and these truly seltzer things.

Crazy liberal family who is just happy to have friends that hang out to give them a break from their crazy ass kids will bring a bag of chips.

Neighbors across the street who like fireworks anytime of the year will bring nothing and walk back and forth to their home for refills. But they do have cool fireworks. Fireworks are not allowed in Montgomery Co. MD so hanging w cops is interesting.

Neighbor kid who shows up but never with a family member will bring mac and cheese.

The host will put out an assortment of BBQ. Ribs, wings and chicken tenders. He also does Miller lite and cheap wines.

I typically take cigars and JD for the dart games that happen. Wife says she is taking vodka slush and broccoli salad.

What are yinz plans?
You lost me at, "too garlicky." There's no such thing.

Duluchan on tap.
Is Luminary Lavery owned? If so, and this is their prize offering, thanks for the warning. Laverys beer never impressed me nor the fine folks of Titusville. Laverys opened a pub down here and it was closed in 6 months.

Anywho, they dont have any good whiskey or shine?

It's not owned by Lavery. They have Duluchan on tap. My kids liked the Apple Pie Moonshine at tailgates. I'm more of a savory guy. It's hard to make whiskey at these distilleries. It really needs to age at least 4 years and that's a lot of product to put in the pipeline without generating revenue. That's why they sell vodka, gin, and flavored moonshines. Not my cup of tea.
Lavery never stood a chance in Titusville. They took over the defunct location a couple months before Covid struck. That was was a covid related death.

A friend of ours opened Titusville Iron Works (check it out) and had Laverys serve beer there for several functions before he got his licenses and before Laverys opened in Titusville. Everyone was kinda surprised when Laverys went all in here,as no one thought their beer was near as good as the Blue Canoe’s was. Blue Canoe was special,RIP.
Laverys was open for SEVERAL months before Covid, and that was merely the straw that broke their back.Folks down here just missed Blue Canoe’s beer, plain and simple.

We have a brand new Distillery in town, Crawford House, I am doing most of their copper and stainless fab/welding. Young guy, stuff is OKAY.

If you're welding their stills, I'll come check out their stuff! Are they open yet?

Just kidding, pals. Last day of Distance learning over here.

Gotta go visit the gal after "work" because she had her parents over on fricking PENN STATE-IOWA night. They're Iowans. One of her brothers wrestled. I truthfully assumed this was one battle I wasn't ever going to have to fight because she drank well water down there. But no... Not the case.

I'm watching the damn dual. Just gonna cuss about her as much as the officiating for the first couple of matches.

I hope Cael & Program appreciate the sacrifices I make for my fandom of this team. My debt for free reign @9pm tonight is that I have to sit through an episode of Project Runway right now.
