According to the Va. Tech website the PSU/VT dual match has been set for 1:00pm on Sunday Nov. 15, 2015 in Cassell Coliseum. They are looking to set their wrestling attendance record. Road trip!

2 questions. Firstly, what is the seating capacity at Cassell Coliseum? Secondly, what is their record for attendance to this date?

someone know the probable lineups? Lets see how this one goes match by match? Just for fun :)

Assuming no weight changes:

125: Nico Megaludis (RS SR) vs. Joey Dance (JR) -- Nico 6-1 at 2014 nationals
133: Jordan Conaway (RS SR) vs. Kevin Norstrem (RS SO)
141: Jimmy Gulibon (RS JR) vs. Dennis Gustafson (JR)
149: Zain Retherford (RS SO) vs. Solomon Chishko (RS FR)
157: Jason Nolf (RS FR) vs. Nick Brascetta (RS SR) or Sal Mastriani (RS JR)
165: Garett Hammond (RS SO) or Shakur Rasheed (RS FR) vs. Brascetta or Mastriani
174: Bo Nickal (RS FR) vs. Zach Epperly (RS SO)
184: Matt McCutcheon (RS SO) vs. Austin Gabel (RS SR) or Zack Zavatsky (RS FR) -- Gabel beat Mouse 5-3 last year
197: Morgan McIntosh (RS SR) vs. Jared Haught (RS SO) -- Smack 5-0 last year
285: Nick Nevills (RS FR) vs. Dan Garwood (RS SR) -- Nevills 6-2 last year

Be a nice measuring stick for Cutch. Hoping he can turn so many close losses into more W's. I'd think success / losing that lead at Ncaas has fueled him a bit

Jefe - no Ty Walz?

Nickal/Epperly and Nevills/Walz would be two interesting early season tests.

Good catch on Walz. I misread his status on the current roster. He's obviously the starter. I'd still favor Nevills, but Walz is a formidable challenge.

I like Nevills to win that match too. Walz is the third highest returning place winner at 285. Knocking off the third- (or maybe 4th if J'Den Cox bumps up)- ranked wrestler in the second week of the season would be a nice way for Big Nick to announce his arrival.

Walz (7th) is the 4th highest placing returnee -- after Gwiazdowski (1), Coon (2), and Medbery (4).

To me, this indicates how wide-open 285 will be this year. The top 3 are national title contenders. After that, anybody's game. Walz is a good wrestler, but inconsistent -- anybody who can beat Coon has no business losing to a backup 197 in the conference semis. Long way of saying: he's a good benchmark, but I expect Nevills to pass him this year, which means a mid-AA finish.
