Curious to know if anyone knows (or has heard) if Mark Hall & Gable Stevenson are close friends? I'm sure Hall will try to get him to PSU.

Crop would know, but they seem so. There's a clip of them goofing around at States somewhere. That said, brother is at UM. It can't hurt though. Mark Hall is the type of recruit that could impact the program for a long time (college success, ability to draw top recruits, international success, coaching possibility). He mentioned all of that in a long interview after he verballed.
Between Steveson and Seth Nevills, we'll have some connections to a stud Heavyweight recruit.

Then there are the classic Auction ads - I wish I was in the market for a front-end loader or snow plow accessory.
I think Gable and Mark are close, but I'd HIGHLY doubt Gable ends up in Happy Valley. Let's put it this way, with things that I can say without getting anyone upset... Steveson is pretty close to an MN lock, and they have a very tight family.

Color me unconvinced about the supposed package deal. First, that I don't think all 3 ever were (rather, it was Steveson + RBY, then Steveson + Teasdale). Second, they're HS sophomores, not exactly the most stable decision-making time of life. Third, we'll see when the competing offers come -- particularly if one has to pay more than another due to residency -- something tells me the adults will step in at that point.
Then again, Spencer Lee and his gf are a package deal to Iowa, so what do I know?

I think Nevills is a PSU lock way more than Gable is a Minnesota lock. But if we can only get one, then I don't think Gable is coming here.

Would guess we will get a matchup between the two at Who's #1 at some point. Both very talented.

Gable Steveson and Mark Hall both can be the "FACE of PENN STATE". Penn State's marketing department can frame both of their faces around the 2019 & 2020 National Championship team trophies to enlighten Gable's thinking processes. If he ever wants to win a team National Title... there's only one ship to ride on while enjoying his team mates annihilate opponents like they annihilated Illinois last night. It's superior wrestling on a scale I wish the fans outside of Penn State could enjoy match after match. I'm spoiled to the core by elite, chain wrestling. I admit it. I am.
