Gable Steveson

So, realizing this is pure speculation, but who is better, Steveson or the youngest Nevills?
Seth Nevills is ranked higher but we all know about rankings....Not sure yet if Seth is playing football or wrestling in college....Both are very good !!!! I would go with Seth....He is a true HWT....Probably gonna be better then Nick....Already bigger.

FIFY

They're both awesome, but Steveson is ranked higher in the rankings I generally look at. They're 1/2 in Flo and Intermat. Gable is a freak with a nasty streak and with major freestyle accolades - 2 straight world titles; Big Snacks seems to focus on folk only, but is on track to be one of the few 4 timers in Ca history. There's only 1 now, with Justin Mejia needing 1 more title to be the 2nd. It's a massive achievement because California is a one class State.

Essentially we're pointing out moles on a supermodel's face dealing with these 2.

Steveson already outweighs both Snyder and Kasper, among others.

Any recent news or rumors out there reference Gable and his college choice? Has he indicated when he'll decide? I sure hope Hall is working him over to commit to PSU. I think Seth Nevills decision plays a huge role in his decision. If Nevills chooses football I think our chances are very high. If he doesn't and chooses PSU I think Gable ends up in Minny with his brother.

Gable Stevenson and Mark Hall both can be the "FACE of PENN STATE". Penn State's marketing department can frame both of their faces around the 2019 & 2020 National Championship team trophies to enlighten Gable's thinking processes. If he ever wants to win a team National Title... there's only one ship to ride on while enjoying his team mates annihilate opponents like they annihilated Illinois last night. It's superior wrestling on a scale I wish the fans outside of Penn State could enjoy match after match. I'm spoiled to the core by elite, chain wrestling. I admit it. I am.
You could almost print their faces on the same t-shirt, at an appropriate time.

Snacks said earlier this school year he's wrestling in college and his goal is Olympic gold.

Well that settles that and answers the question regarding this thread. Unless Seth is considering other schools. That said, I gotta believe he'll follow his big bro, no?

He could end up at Minnesota, but why? If not Penn State then Ohio State or Iowa would seem to be places to go to develop your skills. Minnesota has some serious repairing to do to if they want back in the mix for talent like this kid. Even if he is a Minnesota kid.

Because his brother wrestles there, his parents are involved with the school, and they like Eggum.

tOSU is bringing in Singletary next year, so I have to assume they have him slated to take over for Snyder after a shirt year. How about OSU?

I don't think Gable's decision hinges on Seth.
As good as Seth is there is a large talent gap between them.

It does in the sense that nobody's taking both of them, so whoever commits first removes an option from the other.

Of course that might not be the first option for the later commit.

Talent gap meaning Steveson is much better?

Interesting.

I'd probably concur with that assessment. Gable is on another level athletically. I can't remember seeing a kid his size and weight moving the way he did - as a sophomore in high school. Annieat285 and I saw him wrestle Jordan Wood at WNO 2015. We couldn't believe his skill and movement - and he was only a high school sophomore with an immature body at that point. I posted in another thread that Gable's upside is tremendous. Could be an all-time heavyweight if he's properly coached and motivated - unless my eyes are fooling me.
