Central Michigan scores a touchdown but there's pass interference on the play against Chippewas. CMU moved out to the Penn State 21 - 2nd and goal.
Think we see Allar sooner than later. Need to get him some time today;.
Or that we are a small, undersized defense that has arguably it's worst LB corps PSU has fielded in a long time. DeLuca and Sutherland have no business being on the field, and Elsdon is slower than a turtle. Diaz is doing what he can to utilize speedy DE's and a secondary...because the front 7 sure isn't great shakes.
Penn State allowed CMU to get all the way to their five-yard line but the Chippewas turn it over on downs and Penn State will get the ball back up 27-14.
a good offense can carve this D up. hopefully this is just a sleepwalk week against a team that's hard to get amped for
I don't think it is. The multi-year trend of terrible defense in the middle of the field by LBers continues. That will not pass muster against Maryland, Minnesota, UM, MSU or OSU. Sutherland and DeLuca should not be playing very much other than special teams.
Watching other games. Don't have BTN
Wake Forest and Clemson very good game as is Maryland & UM.

Don't have BTN, but Joey seems to struggle with holding onto the ball. Gets alot ofPBUs but struggles in INT dept.
That Michigan TD run on 4th down at the end of the half was a killer.
Penn State extends their lead to 33-14 thanks to a Sean Clifford 1-yard TD run. Would expect that to be the last we see of the sixth-year starter today.

He didn't drop it. He reached out with one hand and knocked it away. It would have taken a one handed catch but that wasn't likely with the way the ball hit his hand. He was just trying to knock it down. If he hadn't used one hand, and reached out with two hands, who knows if he even knocks it down.

Michigan/Maryland is why you don't play 3 cupcakes to start the season. Michigan is a much better team but haven't played anyone with a pulse. It's a shame we didn't play them this week.
Only 8 minutes remaining and #1 UGa is only beating Kent State 32-22.
