Is going to be let go by Maryland. While Hagans deserves a little more time would this be worth one of those advisor positions coaches give old friends in order to rebuild their image and resume?

I didn't hear trouble, but I though he and James had a falling out when he passed passed over for OC for Rahne.
I think Franklin should take back Gattis. He knows the grass isn’t greener elsewhere and that he’s not an OC. He’s a WR coach and a damn good one.
They’re woke. They can’t fire him.
I’ve had 8 or 10 direct interactions with coach Gattis. All about 9-10 years ago, when Franklin and he were recruiting a player from my area in Florida. I’ve had a relationship with that player and his family since 2007, so I was Able to directly observe and be involved in his recruiting. Coach Gattis and coach Franklin were extremely personable, polite and truthful at every interaction. He had no obvious “attitude”, although he was quietly confident. I saw no indications of “trouble” in his personality. — clearly , this is a small sample to make my assessment, but it’s better than most.
— I heard that Franklin wanted ( and tried) to keep Gattis, but the AD and powers to be would not come up with a satisfactory pay increase. Gattis then took a substantial increase with a lateral move to another team.

So what is his trouble? A few people seem to be in the know here.....I know this....when Gattis was here as the WR coach we signed and developed a ton of NFL WR.

I already told you. He banged a recruits mom at michigan and the word was out on him long before michigan.
Gattis signed and developed a ton of nfl wr??? Godwin was really the only impact guy and he verbally committed in 2013 before gattis was even hired.
Juwan johnson was ok. . Hamler was 2017 which was gattis' last year.
Since then we had dotson, Washington, and Tinsley.

Gattis was only there for 2 years. He did not recruit any of their NFL WRs and they dont have that many.

PSU already had the chance to bring him back and didn't.
Michigan wanted him gone for a reason. They actually got good when Gattis was demoted and Harbaugh took away the play calling. They won after he was gone.
The fans have fired everyone on staff many times. They hired Matt Rhule cause he’s a penn state guy
No idea about all of that but it definitely was the right choice to not make Gattis OC. He's flamed out everywhere as a coordinator.
