CB - Grant Haley
Grant Haley played a majority of the second half of Thursday night's game as one of the Giants' two outside cornerbacks, and certainly looked the part of an NFL cornerback.
A physical cornerback who thrives on his tackling ability, Haley did a nice job stuffing Browns rookie running back Nick Chubb for a one-yard loss with 10:18 remaining in the third quarter. Later broke up a deep-pass with 10:29 remaining in the game.
There is an opportunity for Haley, if he continues to play fundamentally sound football, to compete for the Giants' starting nickel job, and his performance on Thursday night certainly helped his chances of making the initial 53-man roster out of camp.
