Gilman 2031 HC?

I certainly did at the time. I sold my 1989 Lincoln Mark 7 LSC 225HP 5.0 High output luxury leather car for it. :D I had a 6 disc CD changer, with twin 12 inch subs and a powerful Amp I had no business wiring up myself. Oh yeah, I was as cool as Jonathan Taylor Thomas back then! Big mistake to sell it but my Lincoln had 200K miles, a tranny slipping, and air-ride suspension leaks everywhere. I traded my prom date for what I thought was the prettier girl. Silly kid.

Life choices are always fun/depressing to look back on... Aren't they?

I still drive a V-6 now btw. It's just in the form of a 400+HP(had a little work done😉) twin turbo F-150 Lariat😀
Lots of guys get "work done" on a V-6, don't know why you're so defensive about it.

What makes people constantly think Cael is hanging it up sometime soon? This just boggles my mind.
Gable had to hang it up in part due to health. I worked with some people from the U of I athletic dept. back in the day (96/97) and they were telling me how Gable was spending a lot of time in his truck by Carver like it was hard for him to get out of the vehicle. He eventually got a hip replacement, but I doubt he could be as hands-on after that as he'd want to be. I'm not aware of Cael having any issues like that.

The logical next step for Cael is to become AD and rise all the sports to dynasty level. Put Casey in there, still have Cael as AD and all will be good in the PSU sports world. if anyone could create a long term success in some of these sports, it would be Cael

I just can’t imagine that that is something Cael would want to do for a living...
He's doing exactly what he wants now, and barely has time for everything in his life, which includes time for his faith and his family. Not happening, but then it was probably offered a bit tongue-in-cheek.

Pretty sure Gable had both hips replaced. He was still the coach when we had the first dual in BJC in the 96-97 season. About 15 minutes before the dual was to start they announced Gable would not be there. I forget what they exactly was the reason, but they either said or I read later it was due to hip replacement surgery.

I honestly think his goal is to not win more national championships than Gable or become the AD at Penn State, I think his goal is to redefine the structure of wrestling in the USA at the competitive levels. I don’t think OSU gets that facility and training center without Cael and that rivalry... things like that. Not just what happens in State College and for PSU/NLWC.
