Going into the ’18 season, we talked a bit about who might leave early for the NFL after the year concludes. Juwon Johnson was, by most accounts, the most likely to leave… but things haven’t gone as planned for the junior and unless there’s a terrific turnaround during the second half of the season, it looks more likely that he’ll be back in ’19. So who do all us “experts” on here think might leave now? To me, there are only 2 guys who “might” go Pro, Miles Sanders and Shareef Miller. Sanders, imo, is having a good enough season and depending on the runningback class, he might be one guy who would consider taking the money and go Pro. Miller, by some accounts, isn’t really a true NFL prospect but again ,depending on what advice he gets, he could conceivably leave early. I’m not suggesting either should, just that they might.

Others who were thought to at least think about it were Bates, Gonzalez, McGovern, Givens and even Gillikin. Nothing about their performances suggests, at least to me, that they’ll leave early for the NFL.

What say the rest of the board?
