as we all feel for this guy, your comment re his importance has not been on the radar. fact is that he had a large impact on games with KO through EZ. he virtually eliminated KO returns.

not sure who fills this role. Davis is superb kicker but his distance is not close to JJ. not many can match the Toe for distance.

I thought there was some concern that Barbir might not be ready to play this fall as well for undisclosed reasons, which is also why we just recently accepted another kicker verbal. That was based on some social media posts I've read though, I haven't seen any confirmation from a reputable source.
