Cle looks like they knew they gave it their best shot and it isn't good enough. They have no answers and I'm not sure there is one.
great 3rd quarter for the Warriors. 102-88 after 3 qtrs.
LeBron is having a really good game, but the Cavs can not keep up with the Warriors.

I can't stand Steph. Whats up with him laying on the floor with a towel over his head not watching his team. Plays to the cameras constantly knowing that they are on him. Whether it be him wearing his hoodies in warmup or on the bench, he def attempts to be the coolest guy on the floor.

The only thing that will stop the Warriors from being the Bulls is that Dramond and Klay will want to get paid. One of them goes, maybe even this offseason.
How about a Okafor and a #1 pick next year for Klay. If you were Sixers, you would jump at that. How about Saric and a 1 next year for Klay? Would you do that?

Klay is signed thru 2018-19. He'll make 18.9 mill that season. Dramond is signed thru 2019-20. He'll make 18.5 mill that season. Durant is their highest paid player, at 26.5 mill this season. He has a player option for next season at 27.7 mill. He's already said that he's coming back, and has also indicated in the past week that he might be willing to take a little less to enable them to sign players. The underpaid player, if you will, on the Warriors is Curry. He's signed thru this season, and is making 12.1 mill.

Yes, agree. I know that Dramond was extended for 5 years. Makes me think that they keep the 4 together for next year and then move Klay after next year. No way Curry doesn't get paid. Something has to give at some point in time.

EVERY ONE of the 3+ billion or so human bodies on this planet would think it was obscene if I had a contract that paid me even ONE DOLLAR!

)There isn't a player historically who can do what KD does. He can play 1-5 on offense and defense. Post up, rebound, shoot/defend from the perimeter, block shots, bring up and distribute the ball...dude is like 6'10 and can do everything. My goodness.
I think the NBA signed a new collective bargaining agreement, which enables teams to overpay their stars, if they've been on the team for a certain number of years. curry is likely to become the highest paid player, with around $200 mill over a 5-year contract.

Yes, Curry will get $207m approx under max contract. KD will have to take a slight discount. Immediate guy that likely leaves is Iggy providing he wants most money he can get. Warriors could lose a lot of their depth in Iggy and Livingston.
yep. And GS has been very, very fortunate on the injury front. They've suffered very few while their opponents have suffered a lot at key times. Having said that, they are clearly the class of the NBA and by a long shot (pun intended).
Don't even have to go that far back, how about Kevin Garnett. He was the original Durant.
The Warriors and Durant have taken any suspense out of the season and finals. My 2 boys love basketball and have watched the finals until halftime and the 3rd quarter when we turned it off. We really don't care who wins but after a season that we were waiting for the finals and this is what we get. Totally boring. Game of Zones is way more entertaining. Watching the Warriors win but 30 points oh that is fun. Also the NBA needs to crack down on the Warriors and letting them foul almost every defensive possession. They are on the hands or just brutalizing James in the lane and they are not getting called. They literally grabbed James from behind which should have been intentional and only got a regular foul. Also a foul on the floor before the intent of shooting should be a foul on the floor no continuation. This so far has been unwatchable and why would it be any different for the next few years who will challenge them. It is not interesting. We have no dog in this fight. We just want good games.
Maybe....but lets not forget that Kyrie and Love were hurt two years ago. Lets also not forget the JR Smith hasn't been himself since having a pre-mature baby this winter.
I don't like the injury excuse because it just goes on forever and ever. You can talk about GS having a walkover to the finals because of two key injuries versus San Antonio.
And Cleveland with a Boston Walkover with Isiah Thomas hurt....
Right now both teams are healthy and one is kicking the others ass.
Cavs won last year; I'm not making excuses for that. But I was thinking in particular of Love stopping Curry in game seven last year as the clock was going down. Curry's much quicker this year than he was in the Finals last year. I don't see this series going six games.
I really don't agree. Curry has more open spaces because he has three other guys hitting threes. KD is hitting threes at 50%, many behind the three point line. So the Cavs have to spread the floor staying on guys 25 feet from the rim. These guys include Dramont, Klay, and KD. In game one, cavs strategy was to run guys off the three point lane and that ended up giving uncontested layups. In game two, they have a more measured defense but get lit up from the three point line.
GS has four legitimate all-stars with two of them being MVP winners. Cavs have on MVP, and two all-stars. GS is just the better team. No shame their, they may be the best team of all time when you consider regular season and two games away from not losing a game in the entire playoffs.
I do not have personal knowledge of this, not having measured his height myself, but most reports are that hs is a legit 7 feet tall. The way he moves at that height is nothing short of amazing.
He's trending higher. I thought he was 6'9" at Texas, then this thread's 6'10" and now your 7'!

And KG couldn't run the floor with the ball like KD does.
He's nearly 7 feet on the court which for this conversation is what matters I guess.
