Guts galore in this kid...

Not sure how bad the wrestling is or isn't but for the kid to wrestle 2 weeks after an ACL tear shows major heart... that is my take away anyway...

I tore my ACL when I was 21 playing in a flag football league.... I was young and had no insurance so I didn't repair it. I was quite functional on it, but there were some major drawbacks.

It took a couple weeks after initial injury before I could even put real weight on it. Then if I stepped on a pebble wrong or lost my balance a little...Pop...down I went. 100s of times this happened and I would pop it back and go about my day. On four occasions I had to go and have it popped back as for some reason I couldn't get it myself.

Obviously some ACL injuries are worse than others, but with him suffering the injury just two weeks prior..... I can imagine the pain he must have been in. I also wonder if that wrap helped him at all, nothing I tried seemed to help. Consider me impressed.

I was finally able to afford the surgery to replace my ACL when I was 26. Before surgery my knee could move 18mm, post surgery (although I'm sure it's even better now) was 7mm.
