And his denigration and detestable comments about Pribula got my attention as he called him a coward for leaving. Diaper boy saw Pribula as a threat to Allar. Yet when Allar decides to stay, he says it is because he doesn't want to disappoint Franklin!
However you want to spin it he had a terrible game vs ND. Were the receivers bad? Yes. Both can be true. His decision making, footwork and mechanics need to improve when facing pressure and even when not he can just have lapses. Riley Leonard outplayed him.

IMO Allar will not progress any further. Franklins loyalty to Drew is an issue. Beau left because of this. With Drew back we will continue to get the same thing.

Allar should have turned pro--I was wrong because he put loyalty to Franklin and his boys over what was best for him.
He did--see Mills entering the portal right now--tons of other guys. He didn't have to decide by 12/28 as he falsely claimed.

Drew was great under pressure most of this year in my view. He was sacked 19 times all year in 17 games, though 8 were in the playoff and 2 against Ohio State. Notre Dame only had 1 sack and had to bring the house to do it. Last year he had 15 in 13 games, but I felt he was a lot niftier this year. Looking at some other top QBs out there Shadeur Sanders had 42, Quinn Ewers 31, Cam Ward 22, and Dillon Gabriel 21. Riley Leonard had 18 (3 against PSU) and Will Howard 12 (3 against PSU).

Forget what happened vs. ND. Drew would likely be the first QB taken in the draft this year or next year. Pribula will be a second or third day guy if he gets drafted. No coach is playing Beau over Drew when you have both on the roster.

I agree Allar is a talented QB and generally performed exceedingly well. He takes a hit for his tortured play in the Oregon, OSU and Notre Dame play. Not all is fault but as the QB he is the peimary fall guy. I look forward to his return, although I think he would have been an early selection in this years draft. His decison to return was probably a reasoned decision that he, his family, and advisors may have all discussed.
