Opposing defenses have been literally teeing off and shooting across the LOS, especially in passing situations. They've done so with no fear of reprisal. They thought they KNEW that Hack would either crunch down or slide to the side and try to get off a pass.
The Indiana game brought out a new look. Not just once, but on several important turning points, Hackenberg tucked the ball, moved up the field and gained meaningful yardage. TWO RUNNING TDs. How many of the pundits, and for that matter, how many of the Monday Morning QBs on this forum would have predicted that?
If nothing else, some new food for the OSU defensive braintrust to chew on.
