Half Time adjustments

Not defending the kid but 34 and 38 are not “chip shots”. Geez.

The NFL “hit rate” on those distances is 85-91%, with 85% being the data point for a 38 yarder and 91% being the data point for a 35 yarder.

In other words, there’s less than a 2% probability of a NFL kicker missing both of those FGs in a row.

that's why it they are in pro football, not college which we are talking about

I get it, but you have to make one of those. He had plenty of leg, but he hit both of them to the exact same spot. Maybe just needs to tweak his technique (I don’t know, I’ve never kicked in my life).

Me thinks it was the adrenaline. He pulled both kicks meaning he hooked his leg really strong. And that made the ball go the the right. Understandable and correctable. Just needs experience to calm down. But he may have lost his chance now.

I think franklin has compet

I think franklin has competiitions throughout the week..maybe the kid get another chance. Obviously we thought he was best after the summer practices. The good news is we had somebody else come in and make kicks

Felkins Sahaydak looks like he's 16. Another psu great kicker had a similar horrible start to his career. Sam Fickens turned out great. He missed FGs that wouldve been the difference against UVA. I was at the Pinstripe Bowl for his OT game winner and have the autographed photo framed with my ticket and the giveaway tote bag hanging off of it. I'm willing to give him another chance.

Felkins is 1/1 on fgs

Maybe he is the illegitimate child of Carson Long.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Anyone under the age of 65 won't understand the significance of my post.
Was it an extra point and 3 field goals to lose 7-6?

I was at that UVA game and I felt bad for him, but he made a great comeback.

I can't even imagine kicking in that environment. The pressure has to be insane. 🥴
