We really don't need any motivation like this? We're the superior team. Franklin has proven continously these are the kinds of games he wins. Whether some random dude thinks we lack speed is irrelevant. They're going to win this for themselves and all the work they put in.

We really shouldn't need any motivation, and for that matter neither should Boise. We just need to play our game and keep pounding them with our O line, and keep hitting their great running back and their QB every time they run or pass. We should be able to wear them down and force some errors.

Rhett Lashlee said leading up to the game that we had ACC-type speed. I thought he had a pretty good take. I feel like we're built more like an SEC-type team than the average Big Ten team. To say we have no speed is ridiculous.
Penn State is one of the fastest teams in the nation overall. No, we don't have anything like Tez Johnson or Jeremiah Smith, but nobody else does either including Texas, Georgia, ND, etc.
My sister used to teach up in the Idaho panhandle - Sandpoint. You’d see characters like this descend from the hills periodically to shop in bulk. They likely get their news from short wave radio and black and white TVs.

They don't mean as people...they mean, treat them like they're what they are on the field. A G5 team with a quarter of the talent.
