I have followed the "antics" of Jim Harbaugh in relation to the recruitment of Quinn Jordin. His behavior, simply put, is outrageous and should be condemned. It takes recruiting to a place that it should not be, where a family and young man are intruded upon and pressured beyong the already excessive pressure that is part of recruiting HS talent. The vaunted NCAA should step in and stop this dog and pony show. Harbaugh's actions are classless, tasteless, immature, and violates the healthy boundaries that should be respected and protected. How can a young man make any sort of considered choice when he has a coach saturating him with time, praise and overly close behaviors. As far as I concerned, I would pull the offer to Quinn so that he can comfortably go to Michigan. By doing this, I believe that we might stand above the crowd and the nonsense that is occurring with Mr. Harbaugh. And by the way, as a parent, I would never permit my child to experience this situation. What the heck is going on with them? Are they basking in the momentary spectacle of this circus? Yes, I know, recruiting can be "hardball," but this is over the top and should be condemned. Could you imagine for a moment, JoePa or Saban doing a "sleepover." Where the hell are the boundaries that are essential to healthy development. We have seen at PSU what can happen when boundaries are disregarded.
