Lmao. Kennedy can't even beat out the 165 in his own room. The one our 165 just dominated. If he wanted to take one for the team, he should have spent more time developing into the wrestler his top 5 tecruit ranking suggested he'd become.

What is worst is 3 of those takedowns were in one match vs a true freshman, one was a slideby counter against another true freshman, and the 5th was a desperation takedown to avoid a major.
Iowa screwed themselves, the states own justice department opened the case then passed it on to the NCAA.
Kennedy's problem is not his size, he is a plodder who likes to tieup and lean on someone for three periods to wear them out.
He is not very athletic and cannot scramble well. No amount of size is going to makeup for those deficiencies.

They didn't get screwed by the State. They broke well known rules and are now crying about having been caught. I don't like the way they were caught, but they were in fact breaking the rules and therefore the wrestlers screwed themselves.
Further, Baby Brands stating they he skipped the meeting on gambling rules should have resulted in disciplinary action against some coaches and/or admins for not properly training and documenting said training.
Kennedy will be fine and will AA this year up a weight!
