Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or ****ing beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Deadwood Returns!

November 9, 2018
Yes, the rumors are true. A wrap up version of "Deadwood" is filming even as you read this.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Timothy Olyphant will again star as Seth Bullock and Ian McShane is back as Al Swearengen, and series creator David Milch wrote the script and is back as showrunner.
Here’s the first-ever description of the plot: “The indelible characters of the series are reunited after ten years to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood. Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds are reopened, as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.”

Wooo..."San Franchiscko cock****er!"
Swearengen: "I taught you that word well!"
Elseworth in episode one said to Al that he didn’t trust him, but he liked the way he told a lie. As someone above quoted, Al saying god rest the souls of that poor family... and pussy half price for the next 15 minutes. Great stuff.

What made that show was the characters and great acting. Hopefully they can get some good actors.

Yes. The acting was awesome. But what also made the show was that it did actually capture the true Deadwood to a pretty close detail. Some of the things were of coarse "hollywood-ized", but if you watch some History Channel shows about The Real West - Deadwood, they actually based the show on real historical facts. Even down to things like the vulgar language. I watched the show when it originally aired. I liked it, but I thought the vulgarity was over-the-top and not accurate for it's time place. But then I read a piece on the shows writing and use of vulgarity that said they got much of the language and the phrases from real letters found or donated to them that were written by actual Deadwood residents. The layout of the town's set was from real maps of Deadwood. Bullock was real. Calamity Jane was real. ...

Someone explain the peaches thing please?
My guess is that Peaches were one of the first successful canning products, but they were a luxury item in the west because of the logistics of getting them there. Al served peaches as a special treat to make the meeting seem important and himself a person with connections and resources.
