I think the chances of flipping Spencer now that Gilman made the move first are next to none. TG can say he wasnt running from Spencer, but that doesnt mean he didnt want seperated,which makes total sense.

Pletcher must have recruited him to Pitt already. It was a straight up Kawhi recruiting Paul George move, done in complete stealth.

In reality (and it's already been mentioned) if Spencer is actually leaving, he's done an amazing job at hiding it, he's alluded to winning a title in 2021 and then training at HWC. The idea of him leaving behind his teammates (especially before winning a title) is completely unfathomable.

Even if there was some truth to this (let's say HWC is actually in trouble financially), someone made a good point, he can just ride out his undergraduate education then make his next move. To leave with 1 year left goes against everything Spencer has basically represented up until this point.
