Heard another roster spot is opening up at duhOSU

I have no idea whether the egg on the face is supposed to be my face or not. Were you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me? That's an honest question.
I think by callling out the OP for being FOS wasn't warranted considering a bucknut confirmed *some* of what was said without a full blown denial or flame.

B.S. Everyone knows the toughest thing about Ohio State's Pre-Med program is the fact that you need to buy the 24-pack of crayons, instead of the 16-pack you need for the other majors there. No one goes to that cow town for a real education.

I came in peace to shed some light an a subject about which I have some knowledge. No need to take a shot at my alma mater. Especially since you and I and everyone else know it's an excellent university (like all of the B1G universities). Especially the hard science programs.

Yes, we have easy majors which our athletes gravitate towards. Pre-med is not one of them. And every university has those majors that athletes tend to major in at a seemingly disproportional rate. But in the end, at least the B1G universities as a whole try to maintain some standard and aren't sinking to the level of the SEC or UNC.

"Offensive lineman Mirko Jurkovic, a three-star prospect from IMG Academy, tweeted Monday that he was attending Georgia this fall after originally committing to Ohio State.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, Jurkovic was denied admission to Ohio State because of academics, but apparently Georgia’s academic requirements aren’t nearly as stringent. UGASports.com, citing a source, said it wasn’t academics, but rather the fact that Ohio State had exceeded its scholarship limit that left Jurkovic available.

Either way, Ohio State’s loss is Georgia’s gain."

Really! Don't you think saying duhOSU is ,a little, corny. It's like saying Pedstate

Jurkovic looked into transferring to Notre Dame but was told that he would have to go to Holy Cross first to get his academics in order before attending Notre Dame. So his academic issue was real to some degree. Whether it was a real factor for OSU I don't know, but I do know that the opinions here are biased and There may be some sour grapes from the Jurkovic camp.

Here's what I love on this board though. All the posts about how you're glad not to have Meyer, about how you wouldn't want to have OSU's football program, how you could care less about OSU, it's players, coaches, fans, students, and alumni, but you have a 47 post thread on Ohio State. Every week there are a multitude of posts, threads, or references dedicated to OSU.

For a group,of people who could care less about OSU, they sure seem to be on your minds a lot.

You sound EXACTLY like the Pitt fans. Maybe you should form a combined support group?

So essentially we only post about Ohio State and Pitt. Strange for a board with a reputation for having so many off topic posts. A scan of the main page now shows 2 threads making fun of Pitt, and no Ohio State threads. Thanks for playing though!

Just F^@& off, dude.
