I ignored some folks before and then I felt that I was missing out on some of the "forum comedy" and changed my preferences back to not ignoring anybody. There were a great deal of nutty folks in Rec Hall from the day that I started attending the PSU matches, and I believe that the "different" contributors here add that same thing. I have 21mm Guns on Ignore a well as Blowhunter. They bring nothing and makes reading the board, very nice. Was thinking of Ignoring the SPYKE, as he states every opinion around, so eventually one of them is correct and he believes he nailed it. But, I'm suspecting SPKYE is an AI bot, implemented by Rivals to keep the conversations going. If not, they certainly should pay him, as he brings in tons of comments. I really do not believe SPKYE is real. Hope to see him in St. Louis, but that probably means I'm in the Matrix, or Dead.

I generally agree with this.

I don't have Spyker on ignore, but it helps to know he has a penchant for giving fake inside info. That way I'm not invested in its truth value.

With that said though, a message board can be no better than a bar fight if certain posters are allowed to continually hijack threads.

We have a couple of them here, and we've seen more than a few good discussions turn into pissing matches. It doesn't help to put them on ignore, because once a thread goes in a gutter it generally stays there.

The overall board experience might be better without them.
