Here we go Steelers

S-T-I-L-L-E-R-S. STILLERS.

7-0, Panthers. Easy first possession for Carolina. HERE. WE. GO.

Cam looked like a rookie on that play, terrible decision.

Well, the tenor of this game changed quickly. I go out for a brisk walk, and it goes from 0-7 to 21-7. Suddenly, it's a Stillers ASS. BEATING. .

Rookie from LSU just got schooled by AB. Then went to bench like the over rated SEC player that he was/is and mouthed off as if it wasn't his fault.... Comedy at its finest!!

Defense sucks huh?

Unreal performance by those guys, Knocked Newton around like crazy. Watt and Williams were in on every play it seemed and Bostic is playing like a pro bowler.

One thing that bothers me is Rooney said Bell is going to report next week and then Conner goes out. Seems pretty ironic.

Where's that IDIOT at that said that Jesse James was a HOF TE but the Steelers were not using him right?

Jack-ass!!

Love JJ but the emergence of Vance MacDonald makes me wonder if he is a Steeler next year. His targets have gone way done.

As an Erieite, I have to root for Conner. Pains me to root for a Pitt guy, but I like him.

He has turned out to be much, much better than I thought he would be. He also seems to be faster than when we played him in 2016.
I wonder how many pitt fans disowned him after all the nice things he said about Franco in that little snippet? LOL. I bet their little pea brains were spinning and they were frothing at the mouth...ok they're probably always frothing at the mouth but you know what I mean.;)
As for the Steelers themselves, WOW. Impressive, I was not expecting that kind of performance.
I will fully admit I wanted the DC fired about 3 weeks into the season but they have really turned things around. Now I still don't think the secondary is great but it is good although a lot of their performance is dependent on the pressure the front 7 get on the QB and that has been fantastic in the last 5 games.
Was it really just switching Watt and Dupree? Cause those guys are night and day compared to the first 3 games.

Yes. But it is a steeler town more than anything from an NFL perspective. Always has been in my lifetime
In the 60s, it always seemed like a Browns town. I didn't think there were that many Steelers fans then. Maybe I just hung with the wrong crowd.

I was someone who believed Conner would be a career 3rd down/short yardage and goal line back. I did not believe he would be a bell cow starter like he is. I was way wrong. The kid is fantastic. I love everything about him.

Jesse James is a solid TE. Vance McDonald has really emerged this year as a big time playmaker but they have a nice thing going with James and McDonald. James is not as physical as McDonald but he's reliable and can make big plays as well.

Probably depends on what his contract situation is. JJ is still young and he contributes to Steeler wins as he fits into their system. If he is willing to "work" for a reasonable salary I don't see a reason why he would not return for a number of years. Having JJ and MacDonald allows the Steelers to eliminate TE as a draft need so they can continue to draft 2 or 3 CB's every year in "hopes" of finding one that can actually cover NFL receivers....

Am I the only one who thinks Aikman is channeling Madden? Sounds like he's consciously trying to mimic Madden more and more every week. He almost sounds like Frank Caliendo doing his Madden bit. Paddle your own canoe there, Troy. Thanks.

I think Frank is from the North Hills area of Pittsburgh.

WDVE FM radio used to call him in the morning and his wife would answer and say he was sleeping and would not wake him up.

Hmm...interesting. I have noticed he is less football and more about entertainment.

At one point, they had this inline commercial where the RB from Carolina in the booth. I think the guy was filmed and they did a CGI Green screen thing. Anyway, it was cringe worthy and I made note of the fact it is interesting that they are trying to intermingle the entertainment and advertising together. I wonder if they are trying to make Aikmen a "celebrity" to further blur the line between entertainment and advertiser.
