Thanks bro...all in good fun as I thought his tweet was pretty funny and maybe a little salty. Should make for some extra interest in the Nebby meet. BTW, you guys are going to lose (according to a certain gopher Husker fan) to them. Nebby has a good squad imo but let's not go crazy.

Ha, I only knew about it from a couple days ago, made it to page 2 I believe. Decided not to revisit after Grothus was mentioned -- I guess it was a wise choice. Thanks for confirming!

I do not understand people giving Berger so much grief for the after match antics or his tweet. Man the kid is in college and wrestled a war with Kemmerer and probably felt he got robbed of a win? Not to mention who knows what the Brands were yelling or saying during the match. Not trying to start a war. But the Brands brothers are always flipping out, screaming, bullying and causing drama. They are coaches and should be setting a better example for the student athletes. Just my opinion. I will say they love their wrestlers and they are very passionate at what they do. I just do not care for their actions sometimes.
Also I have been reading all these forums for years, and Chief is by far and above the best poster. He is very rare where he is a Hawk fan, but he shows little bias with his opinion, and is respectful to all wrestling fans.

Don't care so much about him being fired up after the match, the twitter stuff is dumb though (IMO)

I don't have a problem with Berger's actions, talking smack is ok. It bothers some, but it's just talk. Besides, that talk generally just generates additional interest.
I also don't have a problem with a fan jumping in and adding wit.
The only thing that ever bothers me is if someone needs to escalate the smack to personal crap.

Haha! Nice to be at the top of the podium in her eyes. Would love to hang out with y'all. I would like to sit with Iowa or PSU fans from the boards since I know most of us are really into it...and not just by team either. Last time, I was breaking down wrestlers from various teams strengths and weaknesses to whoever would listen around me. You know the whole..."Watch this or that guy...." Normally, I am a keep to myself type of guy but I'll talk wrestling with anybody. I was surprised at the conversations around me that weren't even about what was going on down on the mats.
Really good stuff, here and on HR. Don't have a problem with Berger as a fan but I would as his coach. This is hard enough without putting a target on your back. I fear my prayers that he tweets in Nolf's direction will fall on deaf ears.

I'd probably give him a pass if he was stirring things up with another wrestler on Twitter but I'd have been embarrassed as his coach (for me and him) when he took a shot at another coach. I almost said "especially Terry Brands" but really, any coach is owed the same common sense measure of respect. Maybe Brands did say something to him in which case it's a closer question but I don't know that, I only see a student-athlete taking a shot at an opposing coach.

Well unfortunately she is now not just an old girlfriend but she's also just plain old!! Back in the day she had more curves than a snake with epilepsy. As for you my friend Clarion I do have SOME limitations.
