Take a gander at Dice's eligibility spreadsheet and our future lineup:

Suriano
Bravo-Young
Nick Lee
Berge
Joe Lee
Manville
Hall
Whittlake
AJ Nevills
(Probably Seth)

...with Busiello on the way and perhaps another of the Lee or Manville brothers. This really highlights the excellent job that Cael and his staff have done on the recruiting trail. What a treat to be a fan of Penn State Wrestling in these times. :)

According to several fans of teams with 23 and 34 championships respectively, it's because of rich boosters like Pegula promising loan forgiveness.

Of course that begs the question - how did those programs win so darn much? Interesting

According to HR, this is proof that Cael can't coach.

Most of HR has accepted Cael's coaching ability by now. One particular Goofer/Back Fister fan is the holdout.

It is documented and one wanted the glory back so much they were exiled for a year.

You think Manville is going to knock Joseph out of the lineup?
Good catch. Oversight on my part. Now that I think about it my answer is "maybe". It's hard to picture the #5 recruit in his class not cracking the lineup somewhere. If Manville can make 157 (those days may be over), I'd plug him in there. Or maybe Hall & Whittlake move up and AJ gets squeezed. Hard to foresee but it will be intriguing nonetheless.

I'm of the opinion that Manvillle never wrestles for PSU unless there's an injury at 65/74. And it's not a knock on his talent at all, just nowhere to go. Think he ends up transferring.

I get what your saying if this was only about wrestling and the fact if you dont start your limited in your drain on the 9.9. However, he is ROTC, so hes on scholie, and life after college seems to be more the plan than mat time. Also his draw to Greco, says military life too.

Just observations from afar. Plus you never know when a cruise liner is just off on the horizon.

Fersure. I don't say that with any confidence. It just seems weird having a guy THAT good that may not wrestle for 3 years...

Manville has goals beyond wrestling. His choice of major is a specialty at PSU and with ROTC uniquely positions him for a career in military intelligence (if that is the path he ultimately chooses).

Never say never, but I'd rate the odds of him transferring as about the same as Matt Brown transferring when he was stuck behind Ed Ruth.

Nice. What is his choice of major, Jefe?

IST + Business.
Thank you. Great combo, especially if he chooses Mandarin and China as his IST language and culture options. He would be in high demand in both Corporate America and China.

Just realized that I'm playing adviser to somebody else's kid. What a tool. Ignore me.

Don't forget Cassar is only a Red shirt Soph for 197...Man i wish Cael would let him wrestle off right now...He has been going live for a month now and looks great....

This is a look at year one after his class graduates. Cortez, Nolf, Rasheed, Nickal, Cassar, and Nick Nevills run out of eligibility together.
